Ben King has been with the firm since graduating from Baylor Law School in 2005. He was raised in Pittsburg, Texas—a small town located near the firm’s home office in Daingerfield. After graduating law school, Ben knew he wanted to return to Northeast Texas and work alongside the best attorneys in the country. Nix, Patterson & Roach provided the perfect opportunity to do just that.
During his time at Nix, Patterson & Roach, Ben has litigated a wide variety of cases on behalf of individuals and business clients. His litigation practice focuses largely on catastrophic injuries, products liability, nursing home abuse and neglect, and business-to-business commercial disputes. He also has years of experience handling litigation matters involving patent infringement, mass torts, consumer class actions, child sex abuse, as well as other matters in which the firm is involved. In addition to leading the firm’s efforts in multiple cases, Ben recently led the firm’s representation of a corporate client seeking recovery in an oil-field products liability matter. Ben was able to help negotiate a significant and meaningful settlement for the firm’s client.
As part of his practice, Ben has appeared in Federal Courts throughout the country, and he also has extensive experience in Texas and Arkansas state courts. The opportunity to represent a wide variety of clients in multiple types of matters throughout the country has provided him with the knowledge and experience necessary to advise and help individuals and businesses when they need legal solutions. Ben enjoy building relationships with his clients and helping them in their time of need. For Ben, this is the most rewarding aspect of his job, and is what he has always wanted to do.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is active in his sons’ Boy Scout Troop, coaches his sons’ and daughter’s soccer teams, and is an avid Texas A&M football fanatic.
