Kim joined Nix Patterson’s complex litigation group in 2020 after clerking for the Honorable Zack Hawthorn of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Specifically, Kim focuses on breach of contract claims, class actions, energy and natural resource litigation, and general civil litigation.
Kim attended the University of Texas School of Law where she served as Managing Editor of the Texas Environmental Law Journal. While at UT Law, Kim served on the UT Student Conduct Board where she heard cases of academic integrity and had two notes published concerning civil rights legislation and environmental deregulation. Kim is a Double Longhorn having earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas where she majored in International Relations and minored in Spanish.
