Nick Shodrok joined Nix Patterson’s Austin office in 2019, with his practice focusing on business, insurance, and other complex civil litigation. Specifically, Nick has experience representing clients across the country in a wide array of civil litigation matters, including False Claims Act whistleblower litigation, antitrust litigation, insurance bad faith litigation, corporate fraud litigation, and arbitration. Nick also has experience in sovereign representation for states and tribal nations.
Throughout his first three years in practice, Nick gained extensive discovery, oral argument, deposition, pretrial, and appellate experience in state and federal court—experience he employs to zealously represent the firm’s clients in a myriad of civil litigation matters across the country.
Prior to joining the firm, Nick attended Baylor Law School, where he competed on Baylor’s distinguished moot court team—earning a spot in the semifinals at the Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition in New York. Nick also received the highest grade in the class in Torts, Complex Litigation and Creditors’ Remedies.
