On December 7, 2023 Nix Patterson and Cameron Spradling filed a lawsuit against Liberty Healthcare Corporation and Liberty Oklahoma Corporation (“Liberty”) for the horrific physical and mental abuse perpetrated by Liberty caretakers upon mentally disabled residents of the Robert M. Greer Center in Enid, OK. Nix Patterson represents a young man, John Doe, who lived at the Greer Center and was repeatedly beaten and tortured by the staff at the Greer Center, employees of Liberty. The abuse included forms of waterboarding, choking residents until they were unconscious and then beating them until they regained consciousness, and enticing residents\u2014persons with intellectual disabilities\u2014to abuse each other.<\/p>\n
