Nix Patterson Wins $2.76 Million Premises Liability Verdict in Washington County, Oklahoma

On Friday, March 13, 2026, Nix Patterson trial attorneys Cody Hill, Ryan Herring and Matthew Guerra won an incredible $2,765,000.00 verdict for our client, Tina Greer, in the District Court of Washington County Oklahoma.  Tina was injured when she fell from a stage at the Bartlesville Hilton Garden Inn hotel. She was there to be inducted into the Bartlesville Sports Hall of Fame with her teammates from the 1982 state championship Bartlesville High School Lady Bruins softball team.

We alleged that Defendants were negligent and grossly negligent in their installation of the stage.  The jury awarded $2,615,000 in actual damages and $150,000 in punitive damages.  This is the largest personal injury verdict in the history of Washington County.  Senior Paralegal Liz Webb and Michael Medina of Elevated Trial Services helped Tina and the trial team throughout the case.  This verdict continues our long history of representing Oklahomans and recovering more than a billion in verdicts and settlements in the past 10 years in Oklahoma.
