Joseph Bang is an associate attorney at Nix Patterson, where he represents plaintiffs in a broad range of personal injury and complex commercial matters.
From a young age, Joseph knew he wanted to advocate for people who had been wronged. Growing up in Lake Charles, Louisiana, he was introduced to the practice of law through his mother, who worked as a paralegal at a plaintiffs’ personal injury firm. The more Joseph watched the firm’s lawyers fight for their clients, the more he wanted to do the same.
Joseph graduated cum laude from Baylor Law School with Special Distinction in Litigation and magna cum laude from Baylor University undergrad with a double major in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. During law school, Joseph excelled at oral advocacy. He competed on several of Baylor’s national trial and appellate advocacy teams and was named Best Oral Advocate Overall at the Appellate Lawyers Association of Illinois national moot court competition. Today, Joseph brings that same competitive spirit and a relentless work ethic to his practice.
