NP Resolves ThinkOptics Litigation

NP represents ThinkOptics in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in its litigation against Nintendo and other hardware manufacturers. ThinkOptics alleged that Nintendo—and others—infringe its pointing-based controller technology embodied in Nintendo and aftermarket Wii controllers.

A few days before trial, the remaining parties reached a settlement that disposed of all outstanding claims. Today, the Court has dismissed those claims.

ThinkOptics is represented by NP partner Neil Smith and associates Ross Leonoudakis, and Winn Cutler.
