NPR Obtains $27 Million Verdict Against US Bank, The Clearinghouse Payments Co., and Viewpointe

A jury in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas returned a $27 million verdict against U.S. Bank in a suit brought by DataTreasury related to its digital check imaging and storage patents.
Jury selection for lawsuits against Wells Fargo and Wachovia are expected to begin in August, and for the Bank of America trial in October.
