NP Wins Gas Royalty Settlement Against Laredo Petrol

NP represented a class of underpaid royalty owners in this action against Laredo Petroleum Inc. The class members in this case alleged Laredo unlawfully deducted certain post-production costs from the class members’ royalty payments. As a result of NP’s hard work and dedication to this action spanning nearly three years, the firm obtained a settlement with Laredo and its successors EnerVest and FourPoint of $6,651,997 on behalf of the class.

NP’s complex litigation team—partners Jeffrey Angelovich, Brad Beckworth, Susan Whatley, Lisa Baldwin, Trey Duck, and Drew Pate—led the prosecution of this case.
