For over a decade, NP represented DataTreasury Corporation in its efforts to hold the banking industry accountable for its infringement of DTC’s seminal and important patents governing electronic check processing and other systems. Through its representation, NP recovered more than $350 million for its client DTC. As part of its decade-long effort, NP obtained a $54 million judgment on behalf of DataTreasury Corporation against US Bank for willful patent infringement.
In the last decade, NP has filed and resolved more than 50 significant patent infringement lawsuits for a total value in excess of $750 million. NP has and currently represents clients in patent infringement cases involving diverse technologies ranging from financial services to computer systems to medical devices.
