Laredo Oil and Gas Class Action
Energy and Natural Resource Litigation: Class Actions
NPR represented a class of underpaid royalty owners in this action against Laredo Petroleum Inc. The class members in this case alleged Laredo unlawfully deducted certain post-production costs from the class members’ royalty payments. As a result of NPR’s hard work and dedication to this action spanning nearly three years, the firm obtained a settlement with Laredo and its successors EnerVest and FourPoint of $6,651,997 on behalf of the class.
The class was represented by NPR partners Bradley Beckworth, Jeffrey Angelovich and Susan Whatley and associates Drew Pate, Lisa Baldwin and Trey Duck.
