Ward Oil and Gas Class Action

NP represented a class of underpaid royalty owners in this action against Ward Petroleum Corporation. The class members in this case alleged Ward unlawfully deducted certain post-production costs from the class members’ royalty payments. NP obtained a $10 million settlement on behalf of the class, which represented the largest amount the defendant could pay without being forced to wind down its business.

The class was represented by NP partners Bradley Beckworth, Jeffrey Angelovich, Susan Whatley, Lisa Baldwin. Drew Pate, and Trey Duck.
