NPR represented a class of underpaid royalty owners in this action against Ward Petroleum Corporation. The class members in this case alleged Ward unlawfully deducted certain post-production costs from the class members’ royalty payments. NPR obtained a $10 million settlement on behalf of the class, which represented the largest amount the defendant could pay without being forced to wind down its business.

The class was represented by NPR partners Bradley Beckworth, Jeffrey Angelovich and Susan Whatley and associates Drew Pate, Lisa Baldwin and Trey Duck.
