Complex Commercial and Business Litigation

In an ever changing and increasingly competitive business environment, both public and private companies are adopting the contingent fee model as the most logical and cost-effective method to protect and recover corporate assets.

And, when the stakes are highest, clients turn to NPR. We have the experience and resources to identify and develop the most complex issues in any litigation or arbitration and devise and implement an effective strategy. Complex litigation encompasses virtually every type of dispute that can arise in a business setting, including breach of contract cases, partnership/joint venture disputes, business torts, financial institution disputes, fraud, civil RICO claims, breach of fiduciary duty allegations, and insolvency and restructuring related claims. The types of cases we pursue for our clients may change, but our culture of success never does.

We handle high-stakes litigation for the world’s largest and most sophisticated clients, which requires us to take on equally sophisticated and powerful defendants. Our clients include individuals, small business owners, and large corporations, including Fortune 100 companies. NPR also represents bankruptcy trustees in litigation on behalf of the debtor. We guide our clients in identifying and managing risk, capitalizing on strategic opportunities, and when required and beneficial—taking the case to trial. NPR’s network of consultants, advisors and expert witnesses, including economists and forensic accountants, are trial-tested and experienced with the nuances of billion dollar disputes. Although the details of these complex disputes vary, our approach to monetizing them does not. We are uniquely adept at preparing cases for trial, arbitration or settlement, always investing the resources necessary for success.

NPR provides contingency fee representation in complex business litigation in all forums, whether it be state court, federal court or international arbitration.  Representation is provided at a negotiated percentage of the recovery at the outset of the litigation with NPR advancing all out-of-pocket expenses. Lower percentages are available when the client chooses to advance expenses. Most importantly, no fee or advanced expenses are owed unless we are successful on our corporate clients’ behalf.

NPR has litigated and consistently succeeded against some of the most powerful and well-funded defendants, and law firms, in the world. When significant corporate assets are at risk, NPR provides exceptional representation through the most cost-effective method.
